We offer a choice of recruiting tools based on your needs and your financial preferences. The most labor intensive and specific search tool is our retained search offering. This tool is generally used for high-level positions in your organization that require extensive search and background checking for the right candidate. The positions involved in our retained search offering generally include C-level executives, Presidents, Vice- Presidents or hard to fill vacancies in specialized fields or disciplines.
Since these searches are labor intensive on our part, we require a 1/3 payment of the first years salary and bonus at the beginning of the search, an additional 1/3 payment at 60 days into the search assignment and the final 1/3 when we successfully place a candidate in your organization. In addition, there may be travel expenses and advertising costs involved and billed if we recruit nationally and interview candidates nationally.
Many clients prefer a Contingency search relationship, where we accept the search and charge a fee based on the first years salary if we fill the positions. No money or fees changes hands unless we successfully fill your opening. Based on the difficulty of the search, our fees range from 25% to 30% of the first years salary.
We prefer an exclusive arrangement, to devote our full attention to your needs and the needs of the job opening, but will take assignments on a non-exclusive basis, with the understanding that our time is money and we will devote our efforts to clients who are willing to set up an exclusive relationship with us as priority.
Flat fee search. A very cost effective search. Again, our time is money and we offer this alternative to you in search as a means of offering a substantially reduced fee structure that is beneficial to you and to us. Based on the scope of the assignment and the nature of the search we will set a flat fee of $7000 paid at the inception of the search and $7000 paid at the successful completion of the search assignment. On a $100,000 position, normally billed at 30%, this offers a substantial savings in fees, ($14,000 opposed to $30,000). Again, our revenue is based on time and effort expended on your part and we feel this is a most cost effective option for you and for us.
In any case, we are willing to work with you based on your needs and your financial position. We are particularly sensitive to new start up companies and small companies needs and financial issues. Our goal is long term relationships based on trust and customer satisfaction.
